Our Community Projects
One of the current community-based projects taking place at the FEE's premises over 2017-2018 is the 'Derby Refugee Befriending' project that is to help refugees to come together within their groups and communities and also with people from the wider host communities in Derby area to tackle isolation, integrate and contribute, network and socialise, and learn from each other about other cultures.
There are 3 weekly workshops embedded within this project including:
- Weekly sewing workshops
- Weekly arts/crafts workshops
- Weekly cultural cooking workshops
And more, there will also be few cultural networking events that will be advertised at times.
